Is there a fee for this service?

MHS Members receive two (2) complimentary research requests each year. This means two of any combination of general, genealogy or photograph research, not two of each type of research. Members must enter their membership expiration date (mm/yyyy) to receive this member benefit. Resident and nonresident fees apply once annual benefit is used.

"Please note that each bill requested constitutes one research request and will be billed accordingly. If you have several bills that need to be researched, please submit each bill as a separate research request."

Research requests are handled in the order they are received. Turn-around time is 15-20 business days, dating from the receipt of payment.
After submitting your request, you will be presented with online payment options. Payment is required before we can begin to research your request. MHS Members eligible to receive a complimentary research request do not need to provide any further information after submitting this form.
